Shattered

Shattered is a tactical turn-based strategy game set in a dark fantasy world. You play as a group of branded rebels with unique abilities and fight against the forces of the new king to gradually liberate the shattered empire.


The characters’ movement is based on a grid system, for which we developed and implemented an A* pathfinding algorithm to enable efficient navigation. A basic AI was implemented for enemy behaviour. We also created dynamic ragdoll physics and appropriate animations and integrated them using the Unity Animator system.

Beneath

With the help of this AR app, we want to make different facets of depression visible. Our goal is to raise awareness, promote empathy and break the stigma surrounding mental health. To gain a deeper understanding, we conducted surveys and interviewed experts. We transformed the insights we gained into various visual scenes.

Inky Cap Witch

The Inky Cap witch was the first 3D character I created. Inspired by the Tim Burton style, I first did multiple sketches and then modelled her accordingly in Blender. It was important to me that every detail had a meaning and a backstory, such as the jewellery or the different outfits. Although I am still proud of this character, there is a lot I would do differently now.

This is a small collection of the sketches and scribbles I produced during my studies. Some are additional projects, some are random ideas I had for characters and environments, and some are 5-minute sketches I did for practice.
